Eight Kisses is a compilation of eight Hanukkah romances. I found this concept to be very creative and intriguing. Eight different authors combine their talents to bring a very exciting romantic experience. I enjoyed the stories. I have been a Lori Ann Bailey fan for several years now, and I have never been disappointed in her books. She gives us another treat in A Highlander for Hanukkah. My only qualm with this group of stories is my own ignorance about Jewish tradition and Hanukkah. There were a number of times that my “Gentile - ness” got in my way : words I didn’t understand (ner tamid, Bnai Mitzvot, shin, etc) I found myself tripping over and feeling lost. It’s a nice group of romance stories - and I love how unique they are. I just wish there had been an appendix attached with definitions and explanations for people like me. I was given a copy of this book.

Eight Kisses: Eight All-New Tales of Holiday Romance (ebook) by Mindy Klasky...So far I have read only the first story A HIGHLANDER FOR HANUKKAH by Lori Ann Bailey..thanks to Lori for letting me preview this book. I will read the rest and update my review. Shoshana is Jewish works in her father's shop in Scotland ...James McDonald...her father's bookkeeper and a Catholic. H rescues her from an armed robber and the fun starts there... There is an instant attraction.. but he raised his three sisters since he was fifteen and likes not being responsible for anyone.. she is Jewish and can't imagine being forced to change her faith. There is some angst, laughter, fear, longing, and some steam in this sweet and spicy story to get us to a HEA. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Steamy Page-turner Romantic Great world building Entertaining Happily Ever After Wonderful characters Witty Easy-to-read Informative
