Michael Kodas wrote the New Hampshire hikes here. He has hiked over 700 AT
miles in 9 states. A photojournalist at the
Hartford Courant (Connecticut) in
1995 Kodas participated in Appalachian Adventure, a 5-newspaper relay hike of
the entire AT. He has walked and climbed in the western U.S., the Pyrenees,
and New Zealand, and has circumnavigated Long Island Sound by sea kayak.
Andrew Weegar is a freelance writer, specializing in natural history and
hiking. He lives in North Bridgton, Maine.
Glenn Scherer wrote the 100 Mile Wilderness hikes in Maine. A Vermont Long
Trail thru hiker, he has hiked the AT in Maryland, New Jersey, and New York,
