'Fairy Tales and Fables'' - is a work by the founder of Romanticism in Polish literature, poet, political publicist, activist of the national liberation movement Adam Bernard Mickiewicz (Polish: Adam Bernard Mickiewicz; 1798 - 1855). The characters in this work are created as those full of nostalgia and humor, but historically doomed tempers. Among the other author's work such works as: «forefathers' Eve», «mr. Thaddeus», collection «poetry», ballad «romance», the poem «grayna» can be distinguished.
