Hea no cliffhanger. Time line between meetings seemed strange. Will get the next book.

Original and funny dialogue combined with seriously "bad " love scenes make for a great read.

Not a bad read at all! This was a little “dirtier” than I was expecting based on the other books I read by this duo, but it was still really good. I’m giving this 3.5 out of 5 stars. I liked this one overall, but didn’t love it as much as the Bishop Brothers series, which is hard to beat in my mind. Maybe if I would have read this before those books, I would have enjoyed it a little more. The characters were entertaining, and I loved the setting of Charleston…although I felt like we could have seen a little more of the setting, and it might have enhanced the story even more. Ethan was pretty great, and I liked Vada a lot too; then when you put them together, it was magic. I loved the banter between these two. I found myself smiling, and chuckling here and there as I read. I also liked Nora, Millie, etc. as minor characters. There were some sad parts in the book, so be prepared. When I was partway through the book, I was kind of exasperated with what was happening; I won’t go into detail, but there were some poor choices made that I didn’t agree with. I enjoy writer (or artistically creative in any way) main characters, especially since I can relate to them so much. I can’t wait to read the rest of this trilogy, and see what happens with the next couple. If you haven’t tried a book by Kennedy Fox yet, what are you waiting for?!? P.S. They just changed the cover for this book again, and also revealed the covers for the other two books.
