Living in a small town in Northern Nevada, I spend most of my time with my four grandchildren. They are a joy. I have had many different poems published and have won editors choice awards for 2006 and 2008. I love to write poems, and it is still a passion but I wanted to write stories for my grandchildren. They are such a inspiration, so with my husband Joe working many long hours, I found myself sitting at my computer and typing away. Writing a story for children is so very different than writing poems, but I welcome the challenge and with Gods will I will be able to write many more.
