Overview

Jenufla knows where she wants to be in future life, or so she thinks. Life is mapped out for her. The 1950s turn into the hedonistic 1960s and values change. She tries to go with the flow of things and then she meets Paul.

Paul is also looking to his future. Should it be Politician, Priest or Poet? He can do all three or so he thinks as he embarks upon an exploration of each that leads to some catastrophic situations.

He sees her and knows she is different but aloof. He decides that he wants to know her better but will she let him? She sees him but does she not have another who loves her more?

This third novel by Harry Moore explores the real meaning in life and comes up with some interesting conclusions.
