Overview

About the trilogy MINISTERS OF GRACE: In 1942, God abandoned Heaven and fired all the angels, sentencing them to eternity without a prescribed sense of purpose. Some angels believe God will return if they can restore order to the Universe, but they have to work against angry, dejected factions of angels that have allied with demons in order to cause death and destruction wherever possible.

About Book 1 CHERUBIM & SERAPHIM: Fifteen-year-old Sage Holloway is a misfit at home, school and every other conceivable place. For example, her parents have never believed her conviction that certain people have eyes ringed with blue flame. The fire-blue-eyed people are very much real, however, but they aren't really people-they're angels. When Sage is saved from a demon's attack by the Cherub Sidriel, he informs her that the reason she can see the angels is because she's half angel herself. Not long after she signs on to help Sidriel defeat the forces of darkness, they find out that Azrael, the fearsome Angel of Death, is conspiring with the demons to destroy the Earth. Even though she has much to learn, Sage and Sidriel take to the road to stop Azrael and all the other angels and demons in the way.
