This is definitely going to be a delightfully fun trilogy. Rose Corcoran has channelled the storytelling power and imagination of Diana Wynne Jones, Jim Hensen, or Lewis Carroll and brought to life an amusing story full of mistrust, mischief, and magic. Delilah is one of the most deliciously intriguing characters and the story just keeps getting more and more exciting with every chapter.

Reminiscent of Lewis Carrol in its madcap situations, this story has a lot to offer. The characters are fresh and real, the dialogue is hilarious, and there's more to the plot than meets the eye. All ages can enjoy Miscast Spells, a delightful, humorous new addition to the fantasy genre.

I loved this book from the first chapter! The situations are hilarious and inventive, and the characters are absolutely delightful! I love them all and can't wait to read their further adventures. The ending left me on pins and needles and I need to know what happens next! It starts out cute and light, builds naturally by giving the characters time to interact and grow, and finally takes a turn for the dramatic at the climax! Every situation is well written, and the charm and emotion flows from the characters, whom I really came to love.

What a fun story! The characters really stick with you. I really want to know what happens next! I like the way it starts out fairly straight forward and ends with a twist and on a cliffhanger!
