A MUST READ! "My Tears Were For Her" is a book that will make you UNCOMFORTABLE because it will stir up many emotions for those who have experienced child abuse & for those who have not, it will open up you eyes to the reality of what is happening in our world. It is POWERFUL because it sheds a REAL light on the reality of what many DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT.. Yet it affects thousands of people every year! INSPIRATIONAL, because the author shares her heart in raw form; but so needed to help others see the signs of child abuse & prevent others from going through the same shame and heartbreak. I was touched, challenged & empowered by Janet's story & I know you will too. Thank you Janet, for sharing your story. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION & a reminder, that no matter what a person goes through, they can arise above anything!

The author provides a courageous and moving account of her abuse, the effects, and her healing journey toward a life of forgiveness and love. The information/knowledge would have been extremely beneficial when dealing with various behaviours/situations during my 35 yr. Law Enforcement career, both as an investigator and a supervisor, as well as in my personal life. This book is an “educational tool” for: First Responders; School Counsellors; Supervisors in all walks of life; and for everyone encountering others in crisis. It’s an ‘inspirational roadmap’ for victims and their loved ones to realize a better future is feasible. Janet’s courage, resolve, and ability to deal with various obstacles is remarkable. Janet, thank-you for sharing this information, which will benefit Society in the decades ahead.

Don’t waste your time and money, book and podcast with Mike Savage have discrepancies, should be in the fiction section.
