Overview

in his failed attempt to commit suicide, Ivy discovers an e-mail address scrolled into a large rock at the summit of Mount Shasta. An accompanying message simply reads, "call me."

In a state of acute depression, Ivy explores the possibilities of befriending a new acquaintance through the e-mail address he found on the mountain.he is surprised by the quick response from this correspondence, but he is happier that the person on the other end of the e-mail is a female.
through a humorous back-and-forth tug-of-war on the computer, she relinquishes her name to him. In a surprising e-mail to him, Naomi chances a person-to-person meeting with Ivy. As ivy meets Naomi in the designated spot, he realizes that she has suicide on her own mind. That is why her name was scrolled on the rock high on the mountain.
in an infinite second between life and death, Ivy saves this lady's life from her attempt at suicide. She becomes deeply indebted to him, regardless of his rather immature and sometimes strange behavior.
Naomi explains to him, her reason for thinking of suicide was because of her sons presumed death. She has no proof of his death, but she hasn't heard from him in a long time. She is presently seeking divorce from an evil man, who is making her life miserable and who is also involved in drug smuggling.
IV volunteers to help Naomi find her son and escape this evil man she married out of boredom. This search becomes an adventure, which takes them to South America into the heart of the drug cartels farming industry. The answer lies here and the solution involves death defying chances.
