How often can you pick up a contemporary romance and discover that someone is playing matchmaker and it isn’t the grandmother or the aunt or the best friend? Get ready to watch Uncle William as he goes into action once again as the family matchmaker, because being rich and part of a huge corporation must not be nearly as much fun! Welcome to the warm and fuzzy world created by Samantha Chase! Return to You is one of those romance tales that make your knees like jelly, makes your heart skip a beat and leaves you smiling at least half the time! Selena Ainsley and James Montgomery were head over heels in love, but that was ten long and painful years and one nightmarish night ago. Now they are face to face, once again when it’s high school reunion time and Selena has been given cart blanche by a mysterious benefactor to do the event up right. Having to face the memories of a love lost is not on her bucket list, but James still gets to her an she still brings him to his knees with love. An accident and an over-protective father end their relationship in one swoop with his deceit and ruthless behavior. Neither James nor Selena knew the truth of that night and moved on, damaged, lost and broken-hearted. Selena was from money and James had none, did it really matter to them? When the chance to finally clear the air comes, there is too much pain and too many secrets still between them to fully trust each other, but the love never died. Perhaps the meddling of the Montgomery family “fairy godmother” is needed to set things right, but will he get the chance after plan A failed? Who knows, maybe he has a plan B and C in the wings! Looking for a sweet romantic tale that feels as warm as melted chocolate with a hint of spice? Love to watch the spark of love re-ignite? Love that feeling of watching two people fumble through the twisted maze of their own making? How about great dialogue or eye-opening epiphanies? Samantha Chase gives it all to us here in Return to You and she does it with words that will make you laugh, cry and roll your eyes, one page at a time. Of course we have to wonder who the next “victim” of Uncle William’s own cupid’s arrow will be! Take this to the beach, let people wonder why you are smirking!

I'd never read any of the other books in this series, but after reading this one, I'll have to change that. I loved the characters in this book and the idea of a family member being like an official matchmaker for the family. I also loved the light, breezy feel of the book. This book would be perfect for the beach. It's filled with romance, great friendship, and a cast of great characters. I highly, highly recommend it!

Selena and James fell in love in their teenage years. They planned everything. From James' dream lawn business, their house, and to how many kids they're going to have. It was all set! But tragedy happened, and the two lovers had to separate without closure, just pent up anger and questions. After ten years, their paths once again crossed, and all those buried feelings from long ago came rushing back like an avalanche! It was an emotional mess for the two characters, and yet they can't seem to stop kissing each other even after ten years without communication AT ALL!  The story did nothing for me, really. Selena needs to get a hold of herself and not lose control over James just because she still have feelings for him. He would kiss her and she would just let him. Then post-lip lock, they would get in a row with each other. I'm totally confused!! To me, it's like watching a bad episode of General Hospital or Days of Our Lives.  The only best thing in this book is the ending, and that is why I gave it two stars instead of one.

Return to You by Samantha Chase is an enjoyable second chance romance. Elder William Montgomery, is the family matchmaker, who has a knack for pairing his children, nieces and nephews with their true loves. This is a very cute premise and Ms. Chase does a nice job of bringing it all together. The two main characters, Selena Ainsley, an event planner, and James Montgomery, a detective with a passion for landscaping, were fun, interesting and likeable. Their chemistry was amazingly hot, yet mostly behind closed doors. I liked them both as a individuals and as a couple. After ten years of successfully being on her own, Selena has returned to her hometown in Long Island to organize her high school reunion. She loves her life on the Outer Banks, however she is lonely and still in love with James, her boyfriend from high school. They even planned on getting married, way back when. James still lives in town, working in a career that he is good at, but truly does not enjoy. His heart has never stopped aching for Selena. Due to a car accident, unnecessary parental involvement and immaturity, their relationship ended much to soon. Both have a ton of baggage that they need to discuss and unload, in order to move forward in their lives. Overall, this was an engaging reunion romance. However, the plot dragged quite a bit and I found myself skimming through some of the pages in order to get to the more meaningful interactions. James comes from the wealthy Montgomery Family, but did not want to be identified by his family name and money. So he leaves his family at a young age to do his own thing. He meets the beautiful Selena , and they quickly become inseparable. They want to be together forever. However her father does not like James and when tragedy strikes they are torn apart. Ten years later James' Uncle William (the family matchmaker) decides it is time to step in and see if he can help get James and Selena back together. I absolutely fell in love with James and Selena's story, it melted my heart!! What a great addition to the Montgomery Series!!!!

Welcome to land of the Montgomerys!!!!! Arrogant, rich, loving, charismatic, sometimes idiotic when their women are in sight, but damn sexy to the boot. I love them and for me they sail in the same boat as the Sullivans of Bella Andre or the Sloans of Melanie Shaw. It’s wonderful reading Samantha Chase’s Montgomery Brothers Series after a long hiatus with ‘Return To You’ (Book 4). I missed the aristocrat and meddling William Montgomery along with his brother J It’s such a warm and comforting feeling to have a family that loves and supports unconditionally and manipulates and meddles unconditionally. Selena Ainsley is manipulated into planning their high school reunion and ends up coming home to North Carolina from Long Island. A home that she had left behind yet the memories and pain of a past still haunt her and so does the young boy who stole her heart all those years ago. Circumstances send her away from her home and James Montgomery, but motivation and sheer grit motivates her into becoming a successful business owner and now fate and William Montgomery play the catalyst in bringing James and Selena face to face. James Montgomery had left behind a passion as a landscaper and all the riches to become a detective fighting for justice, a very personal decision that was born out of a painful past. Successful, hardworking and loyal to his job, nothing catches him off guard than coming face to face with Selena, the one and only girl who stole his heart. He has questions and Selena is the only one with answers. The past still hurts him enough and Selena is the only balm to take away the pain of betrayal. Ten years of separation slips away as the desire between them stokes the suppressed love. Pain and betrayal fade away as they succumb to the passion that sizzles between them. But they have ten years of hurt, unanswered questions and a small matter called trust, that needs to be taken care of, before they can dream of a future with each other…. finally! And what a fabulous ending Samantha gives James and Selena as they return to each other, for a new beginning! She brings back the glory of the Montgomerys with James and Selena, perfect for each other characterized with all normal human failings.
