This is Mason's story. His early life is explained ,why he became a Lone Wolf and how he comes to claim his mate and becomes an alpha. Full of love and angst, hot love scenes and longings for what he wants but knows he shouldn't. Very good. Ms Long does an excellent job of keeping her readers invested in the story!

You'll find the world of Willow Bend an interesting take on the genre. A very satisfying romance.

--ARC Gifted by the Author for an honest review – AWESOME, loved this book. Salvatore is a SEXY, strong Italian Alpha male and Margo is an honorable, intelligent and independent American Enforcer. I worried that they wouldn’t be able to put it together. They did, it was great! I couldn’t wait to read more and was sad it was the end because I wanted more. No spoilers but I was glad that Salvatore took the time for Margo to figure out that she could have her happily ever after with her honor intact. Eagerly want the next book!! I will 1click many books from this author I’m sure.

This book keeps you on your toes, and you can’t put it down until you are done.   I love Margo, she’s a strong character. This is a great book I recommend it to everyone who loves shifter romance books.  It flowed for me really well and kept my interest throughout. Buy this book, you will not be disappointed.   I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review

I was given this book as an Arc and just asked to read it and give my honest review. Here is what I found. Honor, passion, loyalty, friendship and some hot sexual contact is what you will be entised by when you dive into this wonderful book. The characters are well written and have so much personality I really enjoyed reading this story. It is written on a unique perspective of wolf packs, rogue wolves and the loan wolves who are enforcer. This book is unique and unlike other shifter books out there and this is a wonderful thing because it keeps you interested and does not get boring. Oh and the chemistry between Margo and Salvator is oh so HOT! I definately will have to read the rest of Ms. Longs books because this one got me hooked.

I was given this book as an ARC.  This is my first reading of the Wolves of Willow Bend series but it won't be my last.  Heather is a very talented writer as she was able to tell a story while keeping the reader totally enthralled.  An Italian alpha and an american enforcer have formed an "alliance" , his word not the enforcer, to find his sister and her lover/husband/mate (no one knows for sure what is the connection).  Underlying this is that wolves have been disappearing all over the country and the enforcer wants to know why.  This book has everything that keeps a reader totally enthralled: mystery, missing wolves, bullets, did I mentioned a very hot alpha who wants his enforcer badly, literally craves her. This book is a must read for all readers who likes characters with strong personality and are willing to fight and die for the people they love.  Heather, this book is a winner, congrats. Excellent book.

Shifter and werewolf fans will want to read this! I haven't read the previous books in this series but I had no problems following the story. It stood alone really well. Salvatore (Yes, he is as yummy as he sounds!) is an alpha from another territory that is looking for his sister. He has different beliefs and customs but tries to go along with those of the pack that he is visiting. Margo is a lone wolf and is charged with"babysitting" Salvatore. She is NOT happy about it. She was feisty, smart and strong. Definitely not someone to anger. I easily got into the story though the pace seemed slower at the beginning. The further into the book I got, the more I was hanging on every word. I will be going backwards and purchasing the previous books because I really liked this book and it was the first time that I have experienced this author. I was impressed with the clearly thought out pack dynamics which are totally unique to this series. I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Exciting and entertaining Well written self-contained story even though part of a series.  Enforcer Margo has been given an assignment to escort Italian Alpha Salvatore Esposito to the Willow Bend pack. Even though she doesn't want to go to where her family is because they keep trying to talk her into coming back.  Plus she and the current Alpha don’t really see eye to eye.  Salvatore is trying to find his sister and Margo is still working on finding out what’s been happening to all the missing rogue wolves.   Sparks fly between her and the Italian Alpha but as an enforcer she can't have ties.  Well written and very entertaining to read.

She's an independent wolf, an Enforcer charged with keeping lone wolves in check so they don't go rogue.  He's the Alpha of the Seven Hills pack in Italy who has come to America to look for his sister.   Margo and Salvatore, a seemingly mismatched pair if ever there was one.  However, the sexual tension between these two is so hot you almost need oven mitts for your ereader!  When Jacob, the closest thing to a leader the Enforcers have, tells Margo she has to babysit a visiting Alpha from Italy and take him to get permission from Mason, the Alpha of the Willow Bend pack, to enter his territory to look for his sister, Margo is totally pissed off.  Firstly, she is working on a case looking for missing wolves whose numbers keep growing bigger and bigger.  Secondly, she knows Mason can't stand her, and they definitely rub each other the wrong way.  Thirdly, she's not a damn babysitter!   Needless to say, her frame of mind when she picks up Salvatore from the airport reflects this, and they get into it right from the start.  Salvatore is used to female wolves who don't talk back to an Alpha and, although he is attracted to Margo, he doesn't quite know what to make of her, as she pretty much challenges him on everything.  When they get to the Willow Bend pack, Mason gives him permission to look for his sister, as long as Margo goes along with him.  The sparks fly as they commence looking for Luciana, Salvatore's sister, who may or may not have gone off with a male wolf willingly.  As their quest gets tangled up with the case of the missing wolves, things get more and more complicated with the case, and with their relationship.  Enforcers have some very strange rules and, when they're broken....well, let's just leave it at that!  Rogue Wolf was a totally delightful fluid read.  I enjoyed the interaction between Margo and Salvatore immensely, as I did the strong secondary characters.  The plot was intricate enough to keep your interest with a few riveting surprises along the way.  The romance was Hot, with a capital H.  I cannot believe I haven't found Heather Long's books before, but I am definitely fangirling here.  (ARC provided for an independent review)

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Heather Long. This is from the Wolves of Willow Bend series from the author. Margo is an enforcer for all the packs and she take her job seriously but when she is told to escort an Italian alpha into her old pack lands she is finding it hard not to fall for the hansom alpha. Salvatore is the alpha of all of Italy and is hunting for the rogue who took his sister but finding a hardheaded sassy mate was the last thing he was looking for. The author wrote a very good story line where the flow was very smooth. The characters were great and I got pulled into the story from chapter 1. This is for any paranormal romance book reader who likes adventure, betrayal, action and romance all in 1 story.

I was given this book to read and review. This is the first book of the Wolves of Willow Bend Series I have read. Rogue Wolf Book4 by Heather Long is a author that is talented and this is the kind of story that I really enjoy reading and this is a great read. I like the start of the story Heather gives of all the characters before you start to read the story. This is the four book in the series but each book can be read as a standalone novel. There are three books in the series I have not read but after reading book four my curiosity to read other books in the series is one I know I am going to satisfy. In the beginng there are wolves missing from the packs, this brings in the Alpha Salvatore from another country. There is some tension between Salvatore and Margo. Unfortunately for Margo nothing is going right for her for now she's being ask to help find Salvatore sister. The family is having some drama. Salvatore and Margo are having to ignore the attraction between the two of them and it's getting harder. While they are trailing the wolves that has his sister, they must figure out what is going on? When they are attacked and have to fight. They caught up with the wolves and Salvatore sister but they aren't prepared for what they find. The storyline leaves you on the edge of your seat. But it makes you want to read the next book and leaves you hoping that next book in the series is available. Now if you are like me you can read the past issues while you wait or if the next book is available you will want to read two at a time to get caught up with the Author. This Is A Great Read

The Wolves of Willow Bend are a bunch of loosely connected stories that take place in and around the werewolf pack trying to rebuild after a psychotic despot almost destroyed them.  Now under a new Alpha the wolves are trying to rebuild.  Although these books can be read standalone I think you might get more out of this one if you’ve read Wolf Bite (Wolves of Willow Bend #1). The thing I love most about Heather Long’s work is that it is most often character driven.  In this case you have an Alpha female used to being on her own.  How do you give her the man of her dreams?  Too strong and she will fight to be free, too weak and she won’t respect him.  Enter the Italian Alpha, Salvatore Esposito.  Strong, smart, sexy and confident now he just has to prove to Margo that he can be what she needs.  This book is filled with twists, turns and surprises.  I adored it.  The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is the cover.

I received an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. I have just finished reading 'Rogue Wolf' & I loved it! This is book 4 in the "Wolves of Willow Bend" series & although I haven't read the first 3 & the prequel, I still found I was able to understand what was going on in the storyline. So it can be read as a stand-alone, but if you can read the series in order.... I have added the other books of the series to my wishlist & TBR list, & will try & get them as soon as I'm able. Before the story starts Heather gives us an introduction off all characters we are about to meet, I loved this... it allowed me to get into the book before it had even started. Margo an Enforcer is in the middle of investigating lone wolves that have been going missing without a trace, when she is told she must pick up & escort Italian alpha, Salvator for a meeting with Alpha Mason. Interrupting her mission in finding her missing wolves, but could the reason Salvator is in the US be apart of the reason behind the missing??? Heather weaved such a thrilling tale of suspense, action, passion, sassyness & love.... I found myself drawn into the story & unable to stop until I'd finished. Her heroine Margo, is not only sassy, but willing to put others before herself, especially those who need protection. Salvator's alphaness (I know probably not even a word) helps bring the whole book together & his interaction with Margo is like the Tango. I NEED to read the series ASAP & can't wait to read what comes next in the series... or even for Margo & Salvator.
