A great story that ended leaving a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. Often couples seem so different from each other, but end up being just what each of them need. Dylan and Riley exhibited this characteristic in the story. LA-TXN

The best in the series

This is the first book of the series that I've read and after finishing it I decided to go back to the beginning, it was that good! I really liked the story, the characters were very well developed, each with its own set of problems and issues, some of them rotted for years and years, Arylin's job is to help Stone control his anger so he can go back to work but the only thing that is happening is that she gets angrier and angrier every time she sees him and every time he confronts her. The chemistry between this two is obvious from the get go, the whole I don't like you but I want you worked pretty well for them it a slow burn that made them combust one happy night. Another thing that I really liked was that Arylin was very involved with the rescue shelter so she helped foster dogs in her house, being dog person myself I loved how Jennifer used a sweet little Chihuahua to make Stone and Arylin grow closer together. I can't wait to read the past books, I'm sure they are as good as this one.

When opposites attract, there will be sparks So, you think you have your life all figured out. You have your routine, inner peace and know your path. Then someone crashes the party and turns it all on its head. Arilyn finds herself in this predicament the moment Stone walks into her anger management class. I love a female lead who has got it together. Everyone has their insecurities, and Arilyn isn’t lacking for none. But, they are minimal so if you like stronger females this is a character you can cheer onward. The hero has the most to overcome. He thinks he has his life all put into perfect boxes, but our heroine shows him another side of himself that if he wants, he can be. Oh, and the steam scenes – wow! When Arilyn decides she wants it raw, Ms. Probst gives her some wild nights and mornings in bed. “You taste so good, …Like sugar cookies. I want to spread you out, taste you, eat you until you come apart.” (fans self) If you love Jennifer Probst novels, this one will definitely be a winner for your reading shelves. If you never read her, although part of the Searching for series, this book can stand alone. So far of the Verily gang, this is my favorite.

I love Jennifer Probst's writing and the Searching For series is on of my favorite. So, of course, I was extremely happy to get my hands on an early copy of this amazing book :) The story flows like a charm and it is so interesting and sweet that I simply couldn't put it down :) The characters are intriguing as always and the writing is superb. Not that there is anything else that could be expected by Jennifer Probst :) Stone is quite the hot lead character. With his rough looks, domineering behavior, protective alpha tendencies and uniform, I don't think there will be a woman who won't salivate after him. He is also broken. The demons he carries with him, chase him in the dark and do not leave him rest. Which considering the tragedy he lived through as kid, it is more than understandable. But he also carries guilt on his shoulders, which is actually not the right place for it. All that just makes him that much more pantie melting. And when you add also his dirty mouth and his ability to burn the sheets with his exploits he is quite close to perfect ;) Add to that his complete opposite. Or in other words Arilyn and you have an explosive combination :D Where he is intense and brooding, she is relaxed and free spirited. Or at least she tries to be until one too many things go wrong in her life. And for some reason the only person who can give her back her spark of life is the one who also pushes all her buttons, the one and only Officer Stone Petty. I have to say that their constant bickering results in some quite funny scenes. And when that doesn't happen, the resulting hot scenes are simply breathtaking ;) So in a few words, this is definitely a recommended summer read :) The story is fun, hot and intriguing. It has romance and tenderness, cleverly intertwined with humor and heartbreak. And it is so entertaining that you won't even feel the time passing ;) So just a gentle warning. Don't start reading if you don't have a lot of time. You will simply be late :D So just get your #oneclick finger working and start reading :D This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.

Searching for Always was such an entertaining book to read, definitely one book that leave you wanting for more. Arilyn Meadows has taken quite a lot of work, she is not only an expert at helping others de-stress, she is also a counselor, yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and also makes sure to help her grandfather as well. With lots of things do, Arilyn has to time for complications, but when she gets assigned to a couple of cops to teach them how to cool things off in the work environment, she gets assigned to officer Stone Petty. Things may not have started on the right foot for them, but they certainly grow to like each other as the two of them got to know each other. For officer Stone Petty his job comes first, but it is the things that he sees on an everyday basis that are started to take a toll on him. When he took things a bit too far on one occasion, after seeing a husband beat up his wife in front of their daughter, Petty knew that he had to stop him. Unfortunately things didn't end up well for him as he got suspended from his job, and only got a promise have the job back unless he got anger management help. Needless to say, Petty wasn't happy about it, but the minute he saw Arilyn things started to change, and a challenge presented itself to him right off the bat. Now he is willing to do anything to seduce Arilyn into giving in without any strings attached. Searching for Always had me laughing and rooting for the characters to get together from the very beginning. I love how the characters have similar yet different personalities. Arilyn is focused and caring, while officer Stone Petty has a tough look, yet he is a softy at heart. There are some background issues that the both need to fix in order to move on, but together they are able to help each other. One of the things that had me laughing was how Stone gets to take care of a sheltered puppy, and they immediately bond. He even starts taking her to work with him, which doesn't end up going well at first, but the guys at the police station soon soften and they're all over the puppy giving her treats and toys. There were some things that felt a bit rushed for me, but they somehow worked at the end. The author does a job not forcing their relationship, but instead lets it develop throughout the book. Overall I enjoyed reading the book, if you're looking for a story full of hilarious and sweet moments, then I highly recommend it. :) ***ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.:)***

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I read it in one sitting. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Searching for Someday (Searching For, #1) Searching for Perfect (Searching For, #2) Searching for Beautiful (Searching For, #3) This is Arilyn and Stone’s story. Stone and Arilyn met during a police call. Now he has to attend her anger management class. He thinks her methods are wrong and will never work. He makes fun of most of the methods. When he catches her committing a crime he must decide if he is going to turn her in or help her. She helps him overcome a big fear from his past. Gets on his nerves and fires him up. The chemistry between these two is out of control. When Stone decides he just is not enough for Arilyn he breaks her more than she was ever broken before. Now he wants he back and will do anything to get her back. Will she even want him anymore? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book, this series, and this author.

4.5 Stars Reviewed by Angela and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog Searching for Always is not always perfect. It’s not always wrapped in a perfect box ready for you to open nor readily present when you want it. It takes time, patience and even chaos in your life before finding any kind of always. In this case, the eye opener is the exact opposite of each other. Arilyn Meadows and Officer Stone Petty met in the last installment of this series. Their connection, though it starts out of annoyance, was strong and obvious that it would turn into something a whole lot more. And with Fate on their side, they will have no choice but face each other head on. Who knew we would see the flirty Officer Stone Petty whom we met in Searching for Beautiful in a different light. He seemed pretty cool and collected to me but underneath all that cool facade, he has something brewing in him that he needs anger management classes. Lucky for him, Arilyn not only works for Kinnections, she also teaches the very same class. It was intense, funny and a very cute beginning. Arilyn and Stone cracked me up with their banter, annoyance and the need to avoid each other yet just can’t stay away. There always something that brought them together; an issue, a session, a dog and my favorite, a Girls-night-out party. Believe me, ladies, you don’t want to miss this scene. I love their love-hate relationship. In fact, it was the oddest union because they are such opposite that it made it a perfect match. Overall, this book is a good blend of life chaos, drama, humor, and, of course, the pinch of sweetness.

4.5 Stars! When I started reading SEARCHING FOR ALWAYS, I wasn’t sure that I would enjoy it as I had the previous books in the series, but Ms. Probst proves that she’s still got it. She creates magic by throwing together a man who has buried all his pain and anger at the hand life dealt him under a brash, macho exterior and a woman who worked hard to channel all of her pain into a rewarding lifestyle dedicated to doing good. These two people who on the surface are as different as can be, actually fit each other and are very alike on the inside, with a shared a need for the same things – someone to love and cherish them unconditionally, someone they can also love wholeheartedly. Arilyn and Stone’s first meeting was hostile and nothing has changed since then. Now Stone is forced to attend anger management classes taught by her, getting along will definitely be a trial. As they spend more time together, Arilyn sees that that Stone’s abrasive behavior is a cover and she’s determined to get him to open up. Well, good for her because Stone is having way too much fun pushing her buttons. There’s got to be some emotion under all of that love and light, right? From the first time Arilyn was introduced in the series, she was my least favorite of the four friends because she came across as a goody-two-shoes with her hippie lifestyle, but as I read further I discovered that beneath that zen exterior was a seething mass of emotions and fears and desires and I gained respect for her strength, especially how she had turned her life around. Arilyn is honest, open and all about maintaining balance in life which includes yoga and all its trapping, keeping her body healthy and eating organic foods, no meat. Stone is the opposite in every way. He’s got his emotions under serious lock down and enjoys his beer, fast food, coffee and cigarettes (at least until he quit) and no matter how much they fight it, then can’t resist the attraction between them, so how can they move from adversaries to lovers and how can a relationship between them work? I really liked Arilyn after getting to know her and I loved that she was upfront about her feelings for Stone and even when he got scared of what was developing between them, she was courageous enough to step back and give him the space he needed. Stone is this hulking, big guy whose’s also very sweet. Even with their differences, he’s just the person to give her a taste of the raw, uncontrollable passion she’s always secretly wanted but never got. There are so many enjoyable and funny moments and characters in this book. I especially enjoyed catching up with the couples from the previous books as well as those from her “Marriage” series and I laughed so hard reading about their first dinner date and the veggie lasagna. There were also some very touching moments like Stone bonding with Pinky for the first time. Ms. Probst took things that separately may not be everyone’s cup of tea (yoga, meditation and pets) and combined them into a heartfelt but lighthearted story of opposites attracting and finishes off the series in a spectacular fashion. Arilyn is the last single partner in the Kinnections matchmaking business we have come to love. Kennedy and Kate have found their forever partners in life. Arilyn thought she had too... except he turned out to be a lying asshat. Nothing hurt more than walking in on her boyfriend/yoga instructor one day only to find him in the midst of primal "instruction" with one of his students. As she stood there watching the total surrender of his boyfriend to his primal sexual needs, she realized she had never had that experience with him in the five years of their relationship. That was one of the most traumatic moments of her life. Still reeling from all the anger and bitterness of this breakup, Arilyn attempts to move on by handling her everyday tasks without flinching. Into her anger management class comes a new student who is an old thorn in her side... Officer Stone Petty. Prior run-ins with the larger than life policeman instantly brought on the extreme dislike she has for him. The feeling is mutual. These two are vinegar and water ... they will never mix. Or will they? Maybe under the right circumstances? This delightful series has brought out peals of laughter as well tears of joy and sadness from us readers. These women running Kinnections have not only built a successful business hooking up strangers to their lifetime partners but also managed to find themselves forever partners to complete their lives. I loved this book, in particular because two seemingly opposites at first glance eventually transcend first impressions and find that deep down they share a core of similarities that binds them in a deep love to each other.

Sigh! Jennifer Probst always gives me that great feel good, fun, flirty and sexy romance that leaves me smiling. Arilyn spends her life helping people but tends to forget to help herself so when her "secret" boyfriend of 5 years is caught cheating on her, well, she's not sure where to turn. When Office Stone Petty ends up in her anger management class, well, all sorts of feelings get ignited that she doesn't know how to handle. Stone Petty hates that he has to attend anger management and Arilyn, the instructor seems to push all of his buttons but at the same time lights a fire in him that he's never experienced. Can a man who believes he can't commit find happiness? Will Arilyn let down her guard to something she never expected? Love the journey that they both take and well, Pinky and Robert pretty much stole my heart!

I just love the Searching For series. Jennifer's writing is fantastic and her characters have a way of pulling me right into the story and not letting go even once the book is over. Arilyn and Stone were no exception. I was so excited to get my hands on Arilyn and Stone's story. I wanted to see how the surly officer and spiritual yoga teacher would get along. It should come as no surprise that they didn't at all... at first. They'd already crossed paths and not been all that impressed with each other, so when Stone was forced to attend Arilyn's anger management program after losing his cool in the line of duty, I just knew we were going to be in for a treat. I loved the push and pull between these two. They were both so very stubborn and set in their ways, yet the chemistry between them was undeniable. Inconvenient, but undeniable. Both Arilyn and Stone were fantastic characters on their own, but together they were really something special. She was kind and thoughtful. I could relate to her love for animals, even if I couldn't quite connect with her clean eating, yoga doing ways. Stone was grumpy and all man. He didn't much care for Arilyn's methods, but he was attracted to her... even if he didn't want to be.What he loved to do was push her buttons and I, for one, loved watching him get the otherwise calm, centered woman all riled up. Add to that the sexual tension between them and it just got better. It could probably go without saying that this book has some smokin' hot sexy times. When these two collided, sparks flew. But, more than just hot, this story was romantic and all kinds of swoony. There was tons of heart and I loved seeing the softer side of Stone emerge. And can we just talk about how hot it was when he called her "little one"? *sigh* I loved how important a role animals play in this book. Arilyn's love of four-legged creatures definitely played a part in Stone's progress and there were some heart-melty scenes guaranteed to make any animal-lover smile – and, if you're like me, tear up a bit. Searching for Always was a fantastic addition to the the Searching For series. I loved that we get a chance to catch up with some of our favorite characters and couples from earlier in the series. It always makes me happy to find out life is treating characters I love well. I'm excited to say there seems to be at least one more book in the Searching For series and I can't wait to get ahold of it. I don't know whose story it is. All I know is that it (supposedly) comes out in November and I already need it in my life! I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I've been looking forward to Stane and Arilyn's book since the two met in Searching for Beautiful , and happily it did not disappoint! On the surface, the two couldn't be more different; but the more you get to know them, the more you see they compliment each other perfectly--different when they need to be, but also similar when it matters most. They had fantastic chemistry, and every scene between the two of them was smoking--whether they appreciated it at the time or not ;) They definitely ended up bringing out the best in each other in the end, and it was wonderful watching Arilyn slowly come to realize how her relationship with Stone was so much more real than the one she'd had with yoga instructor guy, regardless of how long they had been "together". Seriously, he was such a tool. The two series that incorporated the love spell are brought together toward the end of the book (Marriage to a Billionaire and Searching For) in a scene that hose who've read them all will no doubt appreciate (though if you haven't, it ends up feeling more superfluous than anything), and Gen's sister is definitely being set up for her own book (continuation of this series? Spin-off? Unclear) that I will absolutely be signing up for. One thing that did get to me--Arilyn's preachiness about healthy habits was definitely a bit much at times. It was more tolerable when you understood the reason behind it, but still... Watching Stone get over his dog phobia was fantastic, though--definite must-read parts. (Pinky! One of the best dogs ever, unfortunate name choice aside.) And I don't know how Ms. Probst did it, but she had me falling for the evil old lady next door by the end of the book... And Arilyn's grandfather Patrick, too--great character! Rating: 4 stars / B+ I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book! If I’m being honest I really love any book that Jennifer writes. Searching for Always had me laughing so hard one minute and teary the next. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of the two main characters. Arilyn is a new age hippie who eats clean food, practices yoga, and meditates. Stone is a cop who loves process food, weight lifting, and drinking beer. These two are like oil and water but neither can deny the sexual sparks when they get together. This book is also full of some pretty amazing supporting characters, Pinky and Arilyn’s grandfather both of which will make you laugh out loud and will grab your heart and not let go. I would highly recommend reading this book as part of the series but it can be read all by its self it you desire.

I had a song floating around my head when I was reading this - Holding Out For A Hero. I think Jennifer has been holding out on us because Stone Petty is everything we need in a book hero. Saving the best to last maybe - how can you top Slade, Nate & Wolfe? You don't - you just add to the group of perfect fictional man Jennifer has given us in this wonderful series.

Loved it. I laughed and cried. When Stone has to go to anger management classes he's shocked his teacher is Arilyn. She is a yoga teacher, co owns Kinnections, animal rescuer and vegetarian. Everything Stone hates. But they are attracted to each other and the heat is out of this world. A sexy cop, a beautiful sweet woman, an ugly little dog, and a crazy neighbor. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll jump for joy.

Searching for Always is the forth book in Jennifer Probst’s Searching For series. I was greatly anticipating reading Arilyn’s story and loved it as I have loved every story in the series. Arilyn Meadows is the third partner at the Kinnections dating service with Kate and Kennedy. She does the computer programming, yoga instruction and anger management counseling. Arilyn is upset because she has just been hurt for the last time by her boyfriend of 5 years, Jacob. He was her yoga instructor and they had a relationship on and off until she caught him having sex with another woman. Stone Petty is the police officer who was called when Genevieve was having trouble with her ex David the year before. Stone and Arilyn didn’t like each other from the beginning. He has been a police officer for years, who has transferred to Verily from the Bronx after an incident. Stone also has been cheated on and also caught his ex having sex with his old partner. After an incident during his shift, Stone finds himself signed up for anger management class and Arilyn is the teacher. He has no intent in taking the class, especially since she is the teacher and he doesn’t like her. Stone fights everything Arilyn tries to teach him in the class to calm down when his anger flares up. He is told by his boss he has no choice but to take the class and complete it, so he decides to deal with it. Arilyn isn’t happy that he is in the class either, but there is also no denying there is a crackle of electricity between them and a fierce attraction. Arilyn helps foster rescue dogs. There is a house which she thinks maybe abusing dogs. Expecting to find large dogs, she is surprised to find a tiny Chihuahua which she calls Pinky. Stone catches her trespassing on the property. She begs him not to arrest her and allow her to take the dog so she can save it by treating it’s wounds. Stone allows her to take the dog, but tells her that she owes him and brings it to her house. They share an explosive kiss, which proves the pull they have with each other. Stone tells her there is a price for saving her and the dog. He says when she is ready to take the leap with him and see how their relationship goes, she has to ask him. Arilyn tells Kate and Kennedy about Stone. They encourage her to ask him to Kate’s wedding. At the bachelorette party they have for Kate, Stone is there with his partner to stop a fight. He hears all the noise in the room where they are for the party. Genevieve tells him that Arilyn wants to talk to him. Stone goes in the room, the other women think he is the cop stripper they hired and want him to start the show. Since Kate is nervous, she has Arilyn sit in her chair. When Stone sees Arilyn, he asks her what’s going on. She tells him he should give the women the show they want. He starts to strip but only focuses on Arilyn and the show is for her. The scene at Kate’s wedding was awesome. It was great to have Stone hang out with Slade, Nate and Wolfe. Even better was having Carina, Max, Nick, Alexa, Michael and Maggie there since they were in the Marriage to a Billionaire series. Kate and Kennedy encourage Arilyn to see how things go with Stone. She is Searching for Always. Forever. Stone is only interested in a physical relationship since he has been so hurt in his past. Arilyn asks Stone to take Pinky the Chihuahua since she watches Robert for Kate. He doesn’t want to and tries to get someone else to watch the dog. Reluctantly he starts getting attached to
