Overview

As a former assassin, a man on the run for years, Marac survived taking on odd jobs, living on society’s fringe, never putting down roots for fear of having to run again. Until he’s hired to steal a trinket from the Brotherhood.

Newly graduated, Soren is ready to shoulder the responsibilities that come with an officer’s commission. Serving in the Brotherhood of Khan is a privilege, one he abandoned everything for. But when an Angel calls on him, he knows his first assignment is more than it seems to be.

As a Lightbearer, gifted with the power to shape light to her will, Alex lived a sheltered life in Tyranor’s monastery. Should the Brotherhood find out what she was, they’d kill her, but the monastery is underground, safely hidden from their prying eyes.

Then it all comes crashing down. A terrible game is played, and when the powerful move, pawns are doomed to be sacrificed.

Are they?

About the Author

Christian Nadeau has always been a bookworm. But at 12, he chanced upon Wheel of Time, and from that point on, fell headfirst into fantasy (and science fiction). Like the typical booknerd he was, he aso got swept up in role-playing games early, an overlowing imagination appointing him as the game master. From that point on, he created worlds, cliché at first, but the more he got through his studies, the more layers were added to them, spawning worlds woven of multiple factions, complex rivalries and shades of gray. At some point he joined the Canadian Army Reserve as a radio operator first, then as a commissioned officer. He can't be thankful enough of the insight it gave into the inner workings of armed forces. Through that, he finished his studies in electrical engineering, and got to work for a string of small companies. While not procuring stable jobs, it provided him with the opportunity to do field work all around the globe, solving challenges with people of different origins and religions along the way. Somewhere amidst all that, Christian resumed an old dream of his. Something he'd started on numerous occasions never finishing it. From corny first attemps in high school to more elaborate set pieces during college, he'd finally started what was supposed to be a practice draft in university. It became Seeds of Hatred, and now that its published, he doesn't intend to stop there.
