The first I have read by this author, the third book in the series does have some background information required for a fuller understanding of the characters. Suffice it to say, these are two very damaged people, mostly from their parent’s individual actions, who find one another in a chance meeting on a beach. Kell has a pair of parents who are overtly and passively dismissive of one another, and their affairs outside of marriage have become well-known scandal. Kell is both angered by and disgusted by their behavior, and he’s decided to make the most of the worst people think of him by remaining detached and aloof, doing as he wishes in every aspect of life as he chases amusement, but not truly getting attached to anyone or anything. Angelica is visiting her grandmother for one final week before returning to enter the convent at her father’s behest. After the death of her mother, he retreated into religion and piety for comfort, and believes his daughter is best served by staying removed from society and it’s potential hurts. I’d love to say that this story grabbed me and kept me reading on, but not having a real sense of Kell before this story that is very much his was a difficult obstacle to overcome. Additionally, the author’s writing style is flowery and overly verbose, bordering on ponderously weighty and this added to a remove from the story: too many words to discuss an idea or place without actually being useful words made this read feel far longer than it was. Perhaps had I the background on the character and some attachment to them that was built in earlier installments, I would have liked this better, but it just was another story, nothing terrible but nothing wonderful either. I was gifted an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility

A rake with a scandalous past, an aristocratic young lady who just wants to remain unseen and free. Both have parents who've hurt and deceived. When they both come together, Sparks will fly, passions will unite, and love heals two broken mid-used hearts. Anabelle Bryant is a genius. Her characters, language and expression make her a master of the written word and leave you wishing for your own happily ever after. A definite must read for all historical and romance lovers.

This is book 3 in the Regency Charms series. Benedict, Viscount "Kell" Kellaway, has gone to Brighton to get away from the latest scandal he and his father created. He finds solace away from the ton and on his beach. One evening he sees what he believes to be an apparition of a woman walking the beach. He returns the next night to find that it was actually a flesh and blood woman...one that seems to affect him as no other has before. Angelica Curtis is spending the week with her grandmother. Dreading the moment she must return to London and learn what fate her father has planned for her, she walks the beach at night enjoying the freedom that will soon be lost. On one of those walks, she encounters Benedict. Feeling an instant attraction to him, she asks him for her first kiss knowing that she needs something to hold close to her heart in the years to come. Can these two lost souls find what their heart desires in each other? After learning more about Kell in Undone by his Kiss, I imagined that there had to be more to him than he showed the world at large. We already knew that he hated his parents and the scandals that they brought with them, but we really hadn't seen what those scandals did to Kell and how they made him into the man that he is. We definitely see a different side of the viscount in this story. Angelica was just as defined by her father as Kell was by his. His religious beliefs kept her on the straight and narrow and it wasn't until she knew that he had plans for her that she ventured out to make some memories for herself. I think the suffering that both Kell and Angelica went through drew them to each other. They both had horrible upbringings and I think they could sense a kindred soul in the other. Another wonderful story by Bryant! It looks like the next book in the series will be out in early 2016 and I can't wait to read it! Thanks go out to Carina UK via NetGalley for a copy of the book in exchange of an honest review.

They were meant for each other! 5 stars ** I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review** Fans of Regency romances, will adore Anabelle Bryant's book Society's Most Scandalous Viscount, the third story in the Regency Charms series. It's a beautiful romantic love story filled with desire and passion in the pursue of true happiness. Angelina, had fled away from a demanding father, to live a fresh start with her grandmother, hoping to be free. She’s a lady who doesn't care for aristocratic concerns and only wants adventure in her life. Enters, Benedict, a devilish viscount, who also doesn't worry about the opinions of society, his scandalous life consists of drinking, gambling and women. But as soon as they meet, sparks flare all over! It only took one kiss to ignite their desire and passion. Are they meant for each other? They do share the same views about scandalous behaviors. Will they take a chance and live a wonderful passion? Will the charm bracelet work it's magic again? Just follow Angelina and Benedict's sweet adventure, you’ll love it. Ms. Bryant really wrote a romantic and sexy story that I could not put it down! I highly recommend, Society's Most Scandalous Viscount, to lovers of Regency romances.
