The scenes are HOT, detailed and extremely satisfying... This is my first time reading any book by Tara Rose, and it will not be my last. The setting is a small town called Racy. In the small town of Racy, some of the couples consist of three individuals, usually two Doms and one Sub. With that fact, I knew heat and sensuality were going to be peppered throughout the book and I made a conscious effort to read the book with leisure. Marisol and Rafe dated briefly when she was fourteen and he was eighteen. Because of their ages, their parents refused to allow them to be together. Eighteen years later and unbeknownst to each other, they are still in love with one another and harboring resentment as a result of their breakup. A surprise from Mother Nature allows Rafe and Marisol one night of passion originally denied to them, in which they discover that the flames are still there and fiercely burning. Rafe’s family still has reservations about the relationship, and Rafe, who is willing to please them, is dealing with conflicted emotions. In steps Ellis, who has been admiring Marisol from afar and once given the opportunity to spend some time with her, he’s able to draw her into his world. The trouble is what about Rafe? Will he, can he and how will he make the transition to share Marisol with Ellis? The scenes with Rafe and Marisol and with Marisol and Ellis are HOT, detailed and extremely satisfying. The scene with all three of them is just as hot, however, unbelievable. It is hard to see Rafe transition into the lifestyle without any previous experience or curiosity. Although willing, it almost appears as if Rafe has no choice but to share Marisol because of his love for her and the conflict he has with his parents. The story is well-written and would have been better if the conflict between Rafe and his parents was believable. Although I wasn’t completely satisfied with the story, I’m looking forward to catching up with the others couples living in Racy. -Reviewed by Sophie
