Overview

Ida has always gone her own way like a gentle breeze, drifting through social barriers as if they weren't even there. Like the breeze, her comings and goings are hard to keep track of and her family assumes Ida's activities are the same as the other society debutantes of Pittsburgh. When she responds to the wilder wind of the Oklahoma prairie, she recognizes the untamed quality in her personality. She also comes to realize that even the wild wind has a Master. She submits to the hand of her Creator, her loving Heavenly Father, and allows Him to tame her willful nature.

About the Author

Donita K. Paul started her career as Christian Romance author Kathleen Paul. After three novels and four novellas for Barbour she decided to try her hand at fantasy. She's won awards in both genres and in Secular as well as Christian writing circles. The Dragon Keeper Chronicles have sold close to half a million copies. Last year for a vacation, she wrote a contemporary fantasy romance novella, Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball. This well-received, light-hearted story inspired her to dust off a prairie romance written 10-15 years ago. So with new sparkle and added zest, Taming the Wild Wind appears as an ebook, a special treat for her romantically inclined readers. No fantasy, but two "ghost children" and a "troll" take a bow.
