A child of the 60’s, Marina Rojas grew up in a family that was more crazy than dysfunctional, and today survives as a testimony to love and laughter because of it. Working currently as a freelance writer with several releases on Smashwords.com, she's loving writing her own personal blog at http://marinarojasfreelancewriterandauthor.weebly.com/, while guest-blogging at SuccessandFailure.com, and tackling a new blog for ChristianWriters.com. Marina is retired from 28.5 years with the State of California Employment Development Department where she worked as a manager in unemployment insurance, and has written stories for, and worked as an editor for FaithWriters Magazine. A short story called Will I Have the Right Shoes? was published in the Fall 2004 Edition of the FaithWriters Christian book Learning for Life. Most recently, her FaithWriters story 'A-Running With Moses' took first place in her division of the weekly writing challenge. Marina also worked at her dream job, writing local interest stories for the Press Enterprise newspaper in Riverside, CA. She is now reliving her childhood and tumultuous teen years in her stories, and writing her very own great American novel while she awaits the birth of her fourth grandchild. Life is good!
