Very Good...BUT I WANTED MORE!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this Loving on the Edge novella. Devon and Hunter's story was a true coming of age story as well as a story at a second chance love that never died. Roni Loren did a great job taking us on Hunter's journey towards finding himself and discovering who he truly was and what he truly wanted in life. Devon was absolutely perfect as his trusting, loving and understanding best friend. Yours All Along is an excellent edition to the Loving On the Edge series and I cannot wait for Call On Me, the next book in the series. Great job on this one, Roni Loren. My only complaint with this one is that it was not long enough and I hope I get more on Devon and Hunter in Call On Me.

4.5 Stars Reviewed by Francesca and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog Roni Loren really can do no wrong.  There is something about the way she makes you fall in love with her characters that blows me away every time.  No matter the heat level of the story.  YOURS ALL ALONG was very different than a lot of her books.  It’s a bit more bittersweet in a way and not as scorching hot as some of her other books.  But I fell for Hunter and Devon from page 1 and couldn’t wait to see them get their HEA. Meet Hunter.  He’s engaged to a beauty queen, comes from an influential political family and is also a baseball superstar.  But is he getting cold feet or realizing that what he wanted all along is now completely out of his reach?  No one knows he has been in love with his best friend from college, and has stayed in love with him even when he hasn’t seen him in four years.  Every one thinks he’s completely straight.  Until his fiance sends him to find Devon and ask him to be his best man.  Things can only spark up from there! I usually tend to enjoy stories that are told step by step in two different timelines, and in YOURS ALL ALONG I enjoyed the hell out of that.  We slowly meet both characters, what makes them tick, what got them to that point.  It was a beautiful way to get to know the characters and it only made me burn to see them happy together.  Their chemistry, their friendship, their banter, their connection.  Everything about these two draws you in.  They are so comfortable and complement each other so well. Did I mention how much I love second chance romances?  THIS was an amazing story of second chance at love.  Because I couldn’t help but want them get that closure for how things turned out in the past, and get to be happy like they never could backthen.  Beautiful job. Ms. Loren!  I wasn’t expecting anything less.

This book is so hot it about set me on fire. Although it’s part of the Loving on the Edge series you don’t have to have read any of the other books to enjoy this one. This is Roni Loren’s first all M/M romance and boy does she know how to write it. This book begins in present day and then flashes back to when Devon and Hunter were college roommates. This was a perfect way to tell their story. Hunter is about to get married but his fiancé feels there is something “off” about him and she sends him on a vacation. She suggests he visit his best friend who he hasn’t spoken to in several years. She has Googled Devon and made arrangements for Hunter to stay at a resort near where Devon lives. Hunter goes to visit Devon where he works but gets drunk waiting for him. Against his better judgement Devon drives him to the resort and they begin talking. The next part of the book takes place four years earlier, when Hunter and Devon were in college. There is so much emotion in this book I could feel it coming off of the pages as I read it. This story proves that if the love story is good it doesn’t matter if it’s a M/F or M/M book; love is love. I didn’t want to put this book down once I started and yet I hated for it to end. This always happens for me when I read one of Roni Loren’s books. If I have one complaint about Yours All Along it’s that I wanted it to be longer. I know a book has to end sometime but I was left with an enormous amount of want when I came to the end of this one. There isn’t a cliffhanger, Devon and Hunter get their HEA but there were so many things I wanted to know more about. I must admit I was so caught up in the story that I was not aware I was reading the last chapter when it ended. I actually started screaming no, no, no; it can’t be over! I guess that is a sign of a really great book. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series. ARC provided by Roni Loren via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
