A short introduction to the first novel (which I have not yet read). Some of the writing is a little stiff and basic. There is a solid story here, with a lot of potential. A dystopian future where corporations have supplanted governments. Citizenship appears to be secondary to corporate affiliation. A protagonist of great wealth has secluded themselves from the population and hidden their identity, in order to seek a solution to a global calamity. It is my hope that the story will continue to improve. I would rate it between 3-4 stars. Material received free of charge from my nook Account.

I liked seeing a peek into what was happening before the story started.

Reads as if written by a high school student. Stilted writing, bad flow, some glaring grammar mistakes. It could be edited to tighten it up and used as a three to five page introduction rather than a "prequel". As it is there are thirteen pages of story out of twenty-two published pages. As stated, the premise for the story is good, the writing just needs to be tightened up. I intend to read the first chapter before deciding whether to go on with the series.
