In 10 Secrets of Being a Lady the authors shares a delightful story about a beautiful little girl named Ava who, like all little girls, enjoys exercising her independence. Ava's mother supports her efforts but at the same time, hopes that imparting her family's secrets of being a lady will help Ava make better choices for herself. However, Ava has other things on her mind that prevent her from focusing on the true intentions of the family secrets. She tries her best to make her mother happy but instead, she succumbs to her youthful, silly ways-with exuberance. Ava's mother must then make decisions about what really matters-focusing on her long-term expectations for her daughter, or enjoying Ava's current disposition.
