Re-invent
Established in 2002, re-wrap is invested in the livelihoods of women and farmers across India. Focusing on purpose over profit and measuring success through social and environmental impacts re-wrap uses only fair trade cotton seed and has a ‘Seed-to-Shop’ process which helps to create a positive impact on people and the planet.
About re-wrap Farmers -
re-wrap provides financial support to 3500 tribal cotton farmers across 58 villages in Karnataka, India. This allows the farmers to become climate resilient, reduce costs and become more planet friendly. It also means that re-wrap can offer a fully transparent, vertical supply chain, that ‘gives back’ to all involved.
About re-wrap Artisans -
re-wrap actively employs women who come from rural backgrounds and trains them in traditional sewing skills to help them gain economic independence. Many of our incredible women are sole income earners for their families and they value working with re-wrap not only for our above average wage but also for the confidence and skills they gain working in our supportive community.
