This interesting, helpful paperback book by a knowledgeable author provides brief informative reviews of many Buffalo, NY and environs architectural gems, ethnic restaurants, festivals, sports events, shopping venues, bars, galleries and nature preserve sites. Suitable for both locals and tourists, this easy to use potpourri of Buffalo area offerings is upbeat, offers website and street addresses, and some telephone contact numbers. Buffalo, NY has always had many ethnic communities which beautifully inform the cultural richness of this city. There are a couple of missing gems such as the Unitarian Universalist Church building at the corner of Elmwood and West Ferry, and the Hershell Carrousel Factory in nearby Tonawanda, NY. No doubt there are more local favorites! This is a great resource, so get busy, and start checking-off your bucket list! Recommended.
