These recipes may be low-fat, but most of them are extremely high carbohydrate. And I don't mean this in a 'not Atkins friendly' sense (I bought the book and came to this conclusion long before the Atkins craze). I mean it in a 'nothing but starch' sense. I enjoy cooking and spend a lot of time studying cookbooks, deciding what dish to make next. NOT ONE RECIPE in this book sounded interesting enough to try. I think it would be a waste of money for most people.
Although i did find a lot of GREAT recipes in this book, be aware that they sit of the fence of vegetarianism. Alot of the recipes include milk and/or eggs and i even found at least one that included Gelatin (made from the bone and hides of swines and cows!!).
