101 Prayer Models is a catalog of models designed to involve everyone. Presented as a set of annotated lists, the models are arranged in four categories: personal and family models, small group models, congregational models and evangelistic models.
The author, Dr. J. Randolph (Randy) Turpin, has been training congregants, pastors and students for the ministry of prayer for the past sixteen years. Over the past ten years he has produced various hardcopy handouts listing ways to cultivate a culture of prayer among God's people. In February of 2011 he decided to compile those lists and make them available as a published booklet-101 Prayer Models.
Dr. Turpin serves as lead pastor of Royal Ridge Church of God in Scarborough, Maine. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member with the Pentecostal Theological Seminary teaching subjects related to leadership, ministerial practice and prayer. He is an ordained bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) and has earned a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Lee University and M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
Randy's calling to minister to leaders has taken him to South America, Africa, Asia and various training venues in North America. He and his wife, Kerry, have devoted their lives to promoting prayer, spiritual renewal and the Spirit-enabled life.
