I have been a Critical Care nurse for many years and this book tops all books I have ever purchased! It was very helpful with Diagnosing subtle and challenging ECG cases. The color pages and visual aides made the book come to life.It has very detailed information on EVERY different type of MI. It's a "How to read ECG's like a cardiologist for dummies book!" It is a MUST have for you or your unit! Wish I had it years ago!!!

Ruppert breaks down the very complex nature of rhythm interpretation and puts it into easy to understand steps. Along with the common rhythms, the ECG's of Brugata syndrome, Wolfe-Parker-White and other less common but potentially deadly conditions are analyzed. Actual case studies that include the films from the cath lab are compared to the rhythm strips before and after the cardiac intervention. The book is an awesome tool for nurses, doctors, paramedics and other healthcare providers who are looking to sharpen their ability to find and identify suspect rhythms. Lots of pictures and graphics help tie together the information, making it easier to digest. I highly recomend this book for healthcare professional who works on a cardiac floor, the ER or telemetry unit. You will know what your patient's heart is doing and where the rhythm is heading. Execellent

This book is informative and a must for practitioners as well as students. The author has a comprehensive knowledge of the material but makes it easy to understand. The color visual aides are just what I need. The attention to detail is unmatched. I will be using this book for years to come. I look forward to future publications from this author.
