I thought this was going to be another self help type of book but found myself realizing it was an amazing journey of these 2 opposite yet similar characters. At first I couldn't stand Alexis and her attitude about people who were not a size 0, but I began to realize I had similar traits in myself about food as she did. Throughout the book, I realized that shoshanna and alexis were on the same path- to find happiness and the perfect way of health for each of them. This is a great book to read. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading! Thank you Kate Rockland for opening my eyes to being a very happy and healthy 150 lbr!

Great read for any woman who has ever had issues with her weight on either end of the spectrum. Funny and very entertaining while addressing real issues of the Hollywood obsession with a woman's weight. Highly recommened it !

I could relate with both ladies at various times in my life. The part that I didn't care for was the Oprah sections, otherwise a good fast read.

This was one of those books that I didn't want it to end! I was hooked from the very beginning. I highly recommend this book!

A wonderful look at the extremes of the weight issues that plague women (and men) all over the country! While meant to be a Chick Lit novel, there are some serious themes to this book that so many of us can relate to!

His face darkened. "New transfer here actually. I've got two PhDs and I majored in Cosmology and Physics. So in true fact, I'm a Cosmologist but I knew enough to come here so that's what I did."

I really enjoyed this book. There was one chapter that meandered and I was wondering how it was going to connect with the overall story, but the main character was likeable and the concept of "skinny" and "fat" as personal identities that switch due to life choices interesting.

I loved this book. It was very entertaining and enjoyable. This book taught me that at the end of the day you just need to become comfortable in your own skin and not care how people perceive you.

Held up the revolver. "Ive already picked a side, and so have you. Doctor? Ive been drafted. Thankyou for everything. You may walk over to 'amara' results. Perhaps you should tell the man in charge what i am. Oh...and your experiment for speech is wearing o-" she goes silent and goes to the marine corps.
