CHARISMATIC? YOU CERTAINLY ARE...IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN AT ALL.
But perhaps not in the way the term is frequently used today. Charismata is a Greek word meaning "gifts of grace." It refers to the gifts or special abilities given to Christians by the Holy Spirit--all the gifts, not just speaking in tongues or miracles or healing.
What are the 19 gifts?
Are they all for today?
What is their purpose?
How can we discover and put to use our own gifts?
All of these questions, plus a careful examination of gifts revealed in the
Bible, are included in this in-depth study, first published in 1974. If you want to know what the Bible says about spiritual gifts, this book is for you.

This book outlines the Biblical teachings about spiritual gifts vs a talent. While identifying gifts and talents, Ms. Flynn synthesizes how a talent can be used by God Almighy in service to Him and the church. Good book that is based upon Biblical truth...and parallel to the gift of prophesy, Flynn demonstrates her spiritual gift of teaching and prophesy through teaching God`s word. ~Professor Leslie Wehman
This book was very helpful. I was desiring to find out what my spiritual gift was. With so many books, views, etc... on the topic I was hesitant that it would be good and I felt I had to be careful to make sure it was biblically sound while reading it even though this book was recommended by a reliable source. What I appreciated about it is that is stuck to spiritual gifts found in the Bible. I've had people tell me other spiritual gifts they think I have but deep down I couldn't help but have the nagging feeling that I didn't see that gift listed in the Bible and perhaps it was a talent but not a spiritual gift. The author stuck to the biblical gifts in the Bible and explained why the ones chosen to discuss were chosen. The book also addressed the talent vs gifts issue. The author also provided many wonderful examples and analogies to help explain each of the gifts. This was just the sort of book I was looking for to help me.
Was very descriptive of the various gifts.
