Introduction by Marianne Gingher, a Greensboro native and author of fiction and nonfiction. Her novel, Bobby Rex's Greatest Hit, was made into a Movie-of-the-Week. Both Bobby Rex and Teen Angel, her short story collection received ALA Notable and Best Book awards. She is a professor of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
