About the Author

Glen Tate has led an amazing life - and one that took a surprising turn. He grew up poor in the rural logging town of Forks, Washington. He worked hard to become a successful professional with a job in the political arena. Thinking he'd finally made it and everything was great, he was stunned to see how corrupt government is. From his observations at his job, he realized that America is collapsing and bad things are coming. Very soon. He began to prepare for him and his family to make it through the civil unrest of the coming collapse. That meant he had to return to his rural roots - quite a shock to his family and friends. Even more amazing was that he wrote down what he foresees happening during the collapse and it became a ten-book novel series published by Prepper Press.

Wish each book was bigger, a hundred page book is not worth the trouble of sending and receiving it.

Very good content here....yes, the book is short...I don't mind paying for quality here. So many "prepper fiction" books are mindless ramblings complete with copious lists of gear, guns, and ammo- down to the caliber no less! Not here; Glen Tate has taken a plausible scenario and slowed the story down a bit to allow for character development and excellent time "getting in the head" of the protagonist, Grant Matson. I am extremely excited for Book 5 and will be purchasing it almost immediately after it comes out.

One...these books are way too expensive and Two . ..the story thus far is slower than whale shize. This book (#4) was the last one I'll read...it's not worth time and money,

I think this series has shown a realistic view of the political turmoil our country faces even if it is a work of fiction

You would think with the drawn out release dates, decent editing would be possible. I personally find it hard to enjoy a book with so many errors.

It’s better than usual prepper fiction. Love it or leave it. This one is a bit smarter than usual, so enjoy it for what it is.

The series is excellent. It avoids the comonplace end of the world, back to the caves and hunting with spears/archery stuff. Instead he focuses on real-world community work out from government-caused economic meltdown. Includes some very apt information about how to revive an economy, from the grassroots. Has_been.

Had high hopes with the first book...read all 4 so far..waste of money...poor character development, the same thoughts regurgitated over and over in each book and multiple times in each chapter...not to mention at 10$ a book your over $100 bucks for all of them by the end...save your money and buy preps with it...shame on the author for the token reference to TheSurvivalPodcast also
