While the artwork is good the storyline is not. The elder vampires decide that it is time to "thin the herd" starting with the new vampires that refuse to hide in the shadows. The elders which are supposed to be scary are rarely seen and are hardly menacing. The main character of the story, Rufus, tries to hide his being a vampire by pretending to be human but he is found out when "family" visits. The elders eventually find him and a fight to the death begins. Overall a nice read, but not a must buy edition.
