Overview

The premise of this new devotional guide by author, experienced pastor, and radio personality Barry Young is simple: spend thirty seconds a day with God for a full year, and get ready to be overwhelmed by his goodness.

When he saw the statistics on how much-or rather, how little-time believers spend with God in today's culture, Barry knew God was prompting him to create a devotional that would enable busy people to learn to love spending more time with the Father. Barry urges believers to remember that a blessed, healthy, fulfilling life is simple when you spend time every day getting to know God better.

But spending half a minute a day with God isn't the endgame-it's just the starting point of a new life filled with quality time with the Creator.

God urges us to "taste and see that the Lord is good" and reminds us that "blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Barry knows that once you get a taste of the life-giving message God has for you, you'll never be satisfied, and you'll always be hungry for more...and that's the secret to an abundant life!
