About the Author

Born with a silver tongue and a pen in her hand, Kali spends her days crafting scandalous romances filled with flawed heroes and kick-ass heroines. When she's not writing, she can be found curled up in her favorite chair with a good book and a steamy cup of coffee.

Self-proclaimed introvert and supporter of the selectively social, Kali currently resides in North Texas with her insane family, including two lazy dogs and one tragically misunderstood cat.

Seriously, though, the cat is evil.

I simply loved from beginning to end! The characters H & h were both awesome. H was gruff and yet so tender to h. h was so sweet and yet strong to look beyond H's gruffness and stand up to his protectiveness. It has become one of my favorites and I am going to look for more of this author.

Received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. 5 out of 5 Stars  What did I like?  Her father had the best of intentions, even though grief makes people do dumb things. Her brother was kind enough to get her out but his plan to do so was not a good one. I love the heroine's attitude. Glad she got the HEA without the traditional triad mating (I think that would have caused too many bad memories to surface). I love the hero's protectiveness and sensitivity.  What did I not like?  The brother's plan to get her out brought up bad memories and could have re-traumatized her. Her father shouldn't have hidden her away/declared her dead, even as a way to keep her safe. Recommendation: Loving this series. Can't wait for more.
