So much of the "advice" in this book is really "common sense" we have forgotten (or choose to forget). With all the technology available to us we tend to get "caught up" and think we need to "have it all". If we took the time to think about it first we would realize "less is more" because the more you have the more it takes to maintain. I recommend reading this to "jog" our memories of so many "lost" thoughts of "the way it was" or the way it could be.

I just installed it because it was free, I'm always looking for a deal LoL. This book is extremely basic. If you have been paying your own bills for ten plus years don't bother reading.. If you are newly out on your own....Then I recommend it.

Even though i am just a teenager i think learning to split money is a importent thing. My parents struggle with debt and are trying to teach their children how to be smart with money, something their parents never did for them. I split money aliitle differrently than Riebe dose, 50% for save, 30% for spend, 10% for chairity, and 10% for taxes (money i give to my parents). This really helps beacause i have over $400 in savings (more than my parents have in theirs).

Putting aside all of the irksome grammatical errors, this title offers some sound advice for people that may have found themselves in over their heads with their finances. The author provides an a quick and simple list to point you in the right direction if these simple tips didn't occur to you before seeking out this type of self-help title. If you can look past the typos then I don't think you'll find this read to be a waste of time.

Quick easy read....good tips. I would suggest looking into those which apply to your situation. E.g. the mortgage suggestion: not everyone would want to spend more money on their payments just to shave years off their mortgage. For some it may be a starter home and not a long term investment for grandkids...so research those which apply to you. In general, good tips.
