About the Author

Reverend George Thompson was called to the ministry in 1972. He was ordained in 1975 and has been in ministry for over 45 years. He received his education in Jamaica and then migrated to Canada in 1981 where he lived for approximately 20 years. He is a Certified Pastoral Counselor and served the Ontario government as counselor and marriage officer and has completed five units of the Clinical Pastoral Education Program. He served the Church of God as pastor with the International Office in Cleveland, Tennessee. He is also an Ordained Bishop with this organization. He is also involved with evangelistic ministry in which his tent crusades have brought many denominations together. He also conducts evangelistic seminars in Jamaica, Canada and the United States.

In addition to being a clergyman, he has worked in the corporate field as a business administrator. Bishop Thompson is currently living in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife and children.
