Overview

This manuscript is entitled "The World of Sport" 50th Anniversary Edition. It's an adaptation of my wrestling memoir "Ask him again Ref!" It contains added sections, stories and pictures of that time and highlights some of the extrovert characters that helped to make that era so memorable. Its a homage to the UK "Golden Era" of grappling.

About the Author

I started out in the world of Professional Wrestling when I was aged seventeen way back in the early 1960's. During that time in the ring I worked for both the Independent Promoters and also the TV People Joint Promotions. Having spent almost 20 years in the business I was forced to retire in 1984 having sustained a serious back/spinal injury some three years previously.
