Ordered this book online because the picture was pretty. I am now on about the 12th square and have found some of the instructions incomplete for some squares. I am having a hard time keeping the size to 7" even though I continually change the size of my crochet hook I've ripped out half done blocks because they are not all sizing up to suit me. I want it to look like the picture when it's done.  I won't give up on it, but I do wish the instructions were a little clearer. Examples:  when it says chain 25, then at the chain 1 and turn and dc in the  3rd ch from hook, sometimes it works out to the end and sometimes it doesn't. Seems like there are some blocks that should have a note where to start counting the chain.  In the beginning of the book there should be a general guide to point this out.  I'm not a beginner, but  have only been doing this for a couple of years and have learned to read patterns very well.  I learn a lot from youtube as well.  Some guides say to never count the original slip stitch in your chain. I tried that with this book and as I said sometimes it works out and sometimes it  doesn't.  Also, when you count back from the end of your starting chain " 3rd chain from the hook", it seems that sometimes it is the 2nd ch that makes it work out to the end of that row and sometimes it is actually the 3rd.  I wonder if different people made the block patterns.  Oh Well, guess I'll just keep on working  on it and hope it turns out.
