About the Author

doris diosa davenport is a writer, educator, and literary & performance poet from Northeast Georgia who, at 65, seeks new adventures as writer, college/university professor and performance poet. With a B.A. from Paine College (Augusta, GA) and a Ph.D. (Univ. of Southern California), davenport has published book reviews, articles, essays, and nine books of poetry. She has done numerous performances, collaborations and workshops. (Other interests: photography, health & fitness, travel.)
