Confidence has been an issue for me since I was young. Two weeks ago I wouldn’t have been able to write that (seemingly minor) statement, but the 7-Day Confidence Challenge truly has changed my entire life outlook. Every step of treating confidence issues—from the diagnosis, to seven quick and easy exercises—is here. The diagnosis worked, and I found out what kind of confidence issues that I suffered from. Although I was still skeptical, I continued on with the book; the daily exercises are so quick that it’s hard not to keep going. Once the results set-in, it will be hard to stop, though. The first few days were effective, so I believed, but the real breakthrough came at the end of the week (hence the book title!). There wasn’t a large revelation or movie-like epiphany where I realized that my confidence was better than ever, but rather a series of small—but noticeable—real-life instances where I exhibited confidence that I normally wouldn’t have. Take this example of my enhanced confidence: Inside of a Starbucks that I regularly patronize, a worker who serves me regularly hands me my coffee (the same Dark Roast that I’ve ordered, regardless of the time of year, time and time again). I found that my name was once again spelled “Dillon”; normally I’d continue on with my day, slightly annoyed, but not overly bothered. Frustrating, but no big deal, was the type of thinking that I normally subscribed to. But not this time, and not after reading the 7-Day Confidence Challenge. I politely but firmly informed the worker that my name was spelled “Dylan”. And it’s been spelled correctly every time since. While the above story may not seem important to most individuals, it is to me. As was said, nobody should expect to become a confidence-radiating hero in just a week. But, if the process is truly embraced and applied over not only one week, but several, readers truly will start to see an improvement in their confidence levels. These improvements may start with assuring that one’s name is spelled correctly on a to-go order, but where one’s confidence ultimately grows to is up to the reader; the 7-Day Confidence Challenge helps anyone in need of confidence assistance along his or her path to true emotional security. Similarly, a week ago I would have been unable to say “I’m awesome and so is the 7-Day Confidence Challenge!”. But it’s not a problem today.
