An enjoyable short story, especially due to the history of devastating Hurricane Katrina weaved in. I liked the level of detail used by the author in describing some elements of the setting.
I found the story strong, compelling, realistic and most importantly if flowed. I also liked the police procedures that were detailed and the decisions that needed to be made. This is an excellent book which I really enjoyed and I look forward to reading many more by the author Stephen Johnson.
25 pages, murder, cop mystery. Some editing mistakes. Very poor ending. The reader is left hanging wondering what happened to next. AD
