When I bought this book, I didn't know about Joe Sutter. Until I came across with this book. Joe Sutter explains his 747 project was his life and 46 years from first 747 rolled out, the project 747 still remains strong today, and is still used in most major airlines. Also he explains the problems he encountered building jumbo jet and how he resolved each problems. He had to face the US SST program which is 2707 and almost brought down to his knees, but he managed to create Boeing's successful JUMBO JET. He is true daddy of Boeing 747 and I do love 747 Jumbo jet. Is one of my favorite airplanes to I rode. It is great book to know about the creator of 747 and understand the true feelings of 747's creator. I highly recommend to every aviation enthusiasts.
