90 Years at The Hawthorns captures life at a Surrey Prep School, from 2001 to 2016. It builds on the legacy of the founding family, tracking key events since 1926 which have led to the School’s success. Since the Millennium it has educated almost 1000 pupils, employed some 300 staff and flourished amidst change, challenge and opportunities. The book describes characters, qualities and themes, including 54 positions of responsibility held by Old Hawthornians in Senior Schools since 1998. The author is a former pupil, teacher and Headmaster of The Hawthorns and Chair of IAPS, with a passion for education and best practice.
