About the Author

Lee Tobin McClain read Gone With The Wind in the third grade and has been an incurable romantic ever since. When she’s not writing emotional, faith-infused love stories with happy endings, she’s probably driving around a carload of snarky teen girls, playing with her rescue dog and cat, or teaching aspiring writers in Seton Hill University’s MFA program. She is probably not cleaning her house.

In addition to the Sacred Bond Guardians series, Lee is also the author of the Sacred Bond novels--His Baby Bond, A Brother's Bond, Her Reunion Bond, and The Doctor's Bond--as well as several spinoff Sacred Bond Friends and Family novels. Her latest endeavor is the Arcadia Valley series of contemporary Christian romances... all emphasizing faith, food, and of course, romance. Secrets of the Heart is her first full-length novel in the series. Lee also writes for Harlequin Love Inspired; check out The Soldier and the Single Mom, The Soldier's Secret Child, and Secret Christmas Twins to get started.

This is one that I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This author certainly knows how to combine family secrets, romance, suspense and faith and weave a story that keeps the reader wondering what could possibly happen next, and she has definitely accomplished that with this one. I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series, and this is a wonderful addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading the entire series. I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This was a good and heartwarming story. Sad but so sad with a very happy ending. Will read the other books... ZJR
