About the Author

Hugh MacDonald is an award-winning poet from Brudenell, Prince Edward Island. His most recent book is Tossed Like Weeds from the Garden (Black Moss, 1999). He is also co-editor of Landmarks: An Anthology of New Atlantic Canadian Poetry of the Land (Acorn Press, 2001). Alice Anna Reese is a children's writer from Charlottetown. She is a member of TWiG, The Writers in Group, which has published several anthologies of Island writers.
