I have fallen in love with Brand family. Will try to read more. They are so down to earth. The stories are so action packed. It is hard to leave the book for anything.

Both of these books are part of their own Brand family series. They were well done even though a bit predictable. Both books have one sex scene and neither are over the top. Both also kept my interest, but I would have to say I liked the second one a little more than the first. 376 pages

I finished the first story. I could not bring myself to finish the second one. The first book was alright. I found that the lead male character was more human. I don't know, I just felt like the lead female was whiny. Don’t get me wrong, she had her good moments. She was strong, stupidly brave, hurt, and pretty kickbutt when it counted. But she blamed the entire male species for all the wrongs in her life, in my opinion. The female lead had some backing to her claim, but grouping all men together because of one man in her life? Given, he was an important man, but it was a bit of a stretch for me. I'm sorry, but I think the male lead's sister, Jessi, had more personality than the main female lead. But that's just my opinion. Read the book and find out for yourself. Write your own review about it, if you'd like. I'd like to see more opinions here.
