About the Author
E.K. Barnes grew up in the Kansas City metropolitan area as the oldest of three children. She began writing short two-pagers at a young age and has since then written countless stories. A Brother's Sacrifice, her debut novel, was first thought up in January 2013 as a story of overcoming obstacles.
