About the Author

James Rollin Page was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. He has a Bachelor of Music degree (piano major) and an MA in Teaching. He taught English at a Florida state college and then went back for two more years of graduate study in English. He is now retired and enjoys a laid-back lifestyle with his wife, who is also an author. He keeps up his music and enjoys cooking and photography. His poems were written over a 45-year period, some of then quite recently. The work is delightfully original, but shows a considerable grasp of tradition. Styles run the gamut from traditional forms to free verse, and themes include love, nature, humor, religion, satire, parody, and more. The author is a member of the Academy of American Poets.
