A Carpenter's Son
My name is Randall Carpenter. I have been writing since I was a young teenager. I have written over 3900 separate writings, and most are on deposit in the Library of Congress. I write a daily inspirational writing on Facebook under the name Randy Carpenter. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. I am a Stephen Minister at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN and held the Senior Lay leader position there for many years. I have experienced a lot of success and failure; happiness and sadness; losses and gains; and mistakes and regrets in my life. But the one thing that has given me the greatest amount of insight, empathy, and wisdom is my ability to take my experiences, good and especially bad, and see a lesson I learned in each. God blessed me with the ability to translate those lessons into words of expression. I learned to not only look, but see; to not only hear, but listen; and to not only touch, but feel. I love deeply, forgive easily, and allow myself to be vulnerable to every emotion I possess. I care about others. I hope my words, observations, and insights will open your heart to the love of God and A Carpenter's Son.
