What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“‘For such a time as this.’ This beautiful verse in the Old Testament Book of Esther came to mind immediately as I was reading Donna Marie's latest book. This is what women need right now during these very troubled, confusing, and divided times. Women need to know first and foremost who they are in Christ. And then how to pray for guidance. Donna-Marie's knowledge in both areas fills these pages which will no doubt fill the hearts of women everywhere; women longing for deeper relationships with friends, family, and especially the Lord.” –Teresa Tomeo, Syndicated Catholic Talk Show Host of Catholic Connection and The Catholic View for Women

This inspiring book is comprised of thoughts and meditations, prayers, quotes from scripture and saints. It’s topics are varied for all the times in our lives, from joyous to sorrowful and everything in between. It is for women of every vocation in life, single, married, single mothers, empty nesters, etc. I felt at many times that the author had glimpsed my heart and was speaking directly to me. It reminded me about all the blessings of being a woman and was encouraging in the challenges of being a woman. I will return to this book time and again for words of comfort and affirmation. A Catholic Woman’s Book of Prayers is an absolute treasure.

I enjoyed this charming book of prayers. In fact it is much more than that. The author shows us the importance of giving our love and support to others, reaffirming the dignity of every woman and the qualities that God concedes us. Every page offers us some advices to improve our spiritual life, our daily routine, helping others at the same time, following the example of Our Lady. In my opinion, this book should be also read by men in order they understand much better women and improving relations. Thanks Donna-Marie for writing this book because after reading it, women feel blessed, finding God's support in our lives.
