I first felt drawn to write children's books at the age of seventeen. I loved English class all through school, even the homework, and enjoyed getting good grades. In high school; I especially enjoyed the assignment: "Make your own picture book."
Later, as a young mother of three, my own children became a source of great inspiration. Over the years, after writes, rewrites, multiple polishings, and a tall stack of rejection letters, with my children fully grown; I'm finally able to refer to myself as an author!
I have quite an extensive portfolio at this point which includes: over twenty children's stories, spanning all the age ranges, romantic and Christian poetry, short stories for ages sixteen to adult and non-fiction articles, mainly Christian.
